Madilyn ”Monkey” Lynette Mims, daughter of Bradley and Erin Mims was born July 29, 2019 in Houston, Texas and passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of 2. She was a daddy’s girl and her mommy’s world; a very bright and smart princess. She lit up every room she entered and brought joy to everyone she met. She loved being with her sister, Paizley, whom she called “Sissy” ; she loved playing dress up listening and dancing to music and playing with Mommy and Sissy’s makeup. She was very animated and knew more sign language than actual words. She loved to cuddle and pretending to be a puppy by licking people or a dinosaur by stomping around saying “roar!” She knew all the animals and their sounds and loved reciting them. She loved being with her cousins and playing with other kids. Madilyn also has saved multiple lives through organ donation.
Madilyn is survived by her father, Bradley Mims, mother, Erin Mims; grandparents, Ben and Kim Mims; Paul Barrington and Tanya Barrington; grandmother, Allison Chase; sisters, Paizley Mims and Addisyn Mims; aunts and uncles, Ben and Candice Mims; Lindsey and John Nanninga, Brian Mims and Mallory Barrington, and Margo Plentenyova along with numerous cousins and other beloved family members. She is also survived by her godmother, Erin Murphy and godfather, Blake Miller.
